Paula Henderson M.D. is a board-certified Family Medicine physician specializing in Geriatric Medicine and Women’s Health at the practice of Herman Mathias M.D. & Associates – part of the Hemet Community Medical Group. 

As a primary-care physician with more than 30 years’ experience, Dr. Henderson is trained to meet the diverse health needs of women and seniors. She is focused on providing care for people ages 65+, diagnosing and treating chronic conditions and illnesses related to aging. Dr. Henderson also operates at 2 other locations in Hemet, and is affiliated with the following medical networks: the Hemet Global Medical Center and Menifee Global Medical Center. 

Dr. Henderson has given many lectures and presentations on her medical research, and has published several articles on the same. She is a member of the Family Planning World Health Organization, the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine (STFM), the American Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (ASCCP), and is an alternate delegate of the California Academy of Family Physicians. She has also completed several community service hours helping people of all ages. 

Past patients have given her high scores for “thoroughness of examination” and “ability to answer questions”. For the convenience of her patients, she can converse in Spanish as well as English. Her office accepts Medicaid, Medicare, and a variety of insurance plans, and telehealth visits are available. Dr. Henderson is currently accepting new patients.
